Level Crossing Removal Alliance - Shutdown Strategy Support

Accura provided delay analysis and shutdown planning support to a major alliance delivering level crossing removals within tightly constrained possession windows.

Working within a live rail environment, we assessed programme resilience across critical shutdown periods and identified risk in staging, resource loading and interface management. Our advice focused on protecting the critical path and reducing exposure to cascading delay during limited access windows.

We also reviewed recovery strategies and tested whether resequencing or resource reallocation would materially improve delivery certainty.

Our experience in rail shutdown environments enables us to move beyond retrospective delay assessment and provide practical, forward-looking planning advice that strengthens programme governance and commercial clarity.
