133MW Wind Farm - Delay and Prolongation Assessment

Renewables construction project wind quantum expert and delay analysis

Accura was engaged by a European EPC contractor delivering a 133MW wind farm comprising 31 wind turbine generators. The project encountered delay arising from access constraints, late design information and adverse weather.

We undertook a detailed delay analysis using contemporaneous programmes and site records to determine critical delay and address concurrency issues. In parallel, we quantified prolongation costs including site preliminaries, supervision and extended plant.

Our analysis provided a clear cause and effect narrative linking events to programme impact and cost consequence.

The assessment formed the basis of negotiations and supported a commercial resolution in this $150m project.
